Water Production Division

The Water Production division of the Weaverville Water Department is responsible for producing all of the water distributed by the System.

The Town of Weaverville owns and operates a 1.5 million gallon per day water treatment plant located in northern Buncombe County.

I addition to water produced at the Water Plant, the Town has a connection with the Asheville-Buncombe Water Authority System allowing water to be purchased and sold between to two systems.
