Welcome to
Lake Louise
Park

Originally named Lake Juanita, Lake Louise was obtained
by the Town in 1936 for use as a community recreational center. After extensive
restoration and improvements in 1987 it became the focal point for outdoor recreational
activities for residents of all ages.
The park is located southwest of Main Street at the
intersection of Merrimon Avenue and Lakeshore Drive.
Lake Louise Park facilities include:
 | Picnic areas with several covered picnic shelters. |
 | Barbecue grills adjacent to picnic areas. |
 | A .61 mile walking trail. |
 | Swings and playground equipment . |
 | A cardiovascular workout center. |
 | Fishing from shoreline (with permit). |
 | Restrooms (open during daylight hours during the summer
season). |

PARK RULES
- No activities between 10:00 p.m & 7:00 a.m.
- No swimming or boating.
- Firearms, weapons, and alcoholic beverages prohibited.
- Pets must be on leash and are prohibited on walking trails.
- No bicycles on walking trails.
- Vending or soliciting prohibited
- Unauthorized posting of signs prohibited.
- Vehicles prohibited on grass and walking trail. Violators subject to $25.00 fine.
- No littering.
- Destruction of plants, animals, and wildlife are prohibited.
- Feeding of wild or domestic fowl (ducks and geese) is prohibited.

ADDITIONAL PARK INFORMATION
Picnic areas and shelters are available on a first come basis and may
not be reserved in advance.
Fishing permits may be obtained at the Weaverville Town Hall during
regular business hours.
Due to vandalism, paper products are not supplied in the restrooms.
The Town reserves the right to reserve areas for Town sponsored events.
