The Weaverville municipal
government is made up of a number of "BOARDS" which oversee
various activities of the Town.
We are all familiar with the Town Council,
also commonly known as "Board of Commissioners". These
are the primary officials responsible for the operation of
town government and are the officials elected by the
citizens of Weaverville.
In addition to the elected Town Council,
other boards are established by the Town Council to serve
special functions. These boards have members appointed
by the Town Council or by the Buncombe County Board of
Commissioners. |

Serving Our
Community
Citizens of Weaverville and the surrounding area volunteer
